NEXTGEN NEW YORK
Board Membership: An Intersection of Career and Philanthropy
Serving on the board of a nonprofit organization or a professional membership association is a win-win. You expand your network, flex your management or financial muscles, develop new skills and contribute to the group’s professionalism and advancement. Likewise, the organization is enhanced by your wisdom, experience and efforts. This discussion will help you get started on the path of philanthropy and career development by joining a board.

Learn how to identify an appropriate organization and its board to best match your passion and talent. Gain insights as the panelists describe how board service has led to personal and professional benefits. Bring your questions and, following the presentation, enjoy light appetizers and drinks at an exclusive networking reception. This event is hosted by Deloitte's Junior WIN group.

Whether or not you attend this event, if interested in serving on a corporate, private, or nonprofit board, please complete the 100WF Corporate/Private and Nonprofit Board questionnaires.
