EDUCATION SESSION #806
Lets Talk About Risk: Managing Risk Across Asia Pacific
As a strategic function, risk management plays a critical part in any investment firm’s strategy. Today the role has evolved, and the need for not only strong technical skills but also strong interpersonal skills is increasingly important. While just a few years ago the role of Risk Management may have been largely operational, today the CRO often plays an instrumental part in policy making and decision making.

What should the CRO do and where exactly in the organisation does the CRO fit? Does a CRO indeed suit all businesses? In this session, an panel of senior risk professionals will debate these and other key questions. Their diverse experiences will offer the audience a broad perspective on the challenges of managing risk across businesses, from hedge funds to private equity, wealth management to investment banking.
