The Bake Sale is Back!
The UMW is very excited to offer a virtual bake sale again this year through Sign-up Genius. Proceeds will benefit Backpack Buddies, Hands of Hope in West Virginia, and construction of a dorm for street girls in Liberia. This is not an auction. Prices are set. The sale closes on Sunday, Nov. 14. Pick-up and payment will be Wednesday, Nov. 17 under the nursery portico between 6 and 6:45 PM. We can take cash, check (made out to Chamblee UMW), Paypal, and Venmo. Quantities are limited, but if you want something that has already been reserved, please email umw@chambleeumc.org and we’ll see what we can do. You can also email the UMW if you have any questions or if you’d like to make a donation without a purchase.
For the last 38 years, Chamblee First UMC has sponsored a food drive that provides families in our community with a Thanksgiving Food Basket including fruit, vegetables, and a wide variety of canned and dried food items. These families are identified with the assistance of our local school counselors and social workers. Our goal this year is to help 200 families in need within our schools and surrounding community!
