“We build more than infrastructure—we build community.”

At KE&G Construction, our purpose is rooted in something deeper than concrete and steel—we’re Constructing Our Legacy. That legacy is built on decades of delivering infrastructure that makes communities safer, more resilient, and more connected across Southern Arizona.

As an employee-owned company, we bring personal pride and accountability to every project we touch—from critical underground utility work to public roadways and drainage systems. Our commitment goes beyond construction—it’s about enriching lives and building the future. That’s why our vision is clear: to positively impact the quality of life in the communities where we live and work.

This year, we’ve had the privilege of working on projects that reflect that vision in action. One recent project is our Monarch subdivision infrastructure project, currently underway in Marana, which is helping lay the groundwork for new housing opportunities, complete with essential water, sewer, and road systems. Meanwhile, our Sunflower Neighborhoods Liquid Road Pavement Preservation project enhances roadway safety and extends the lifespan of local streets in one of the area’s most established communities. These are just two examples of how we serve both growth and stewardship through our work.

We don’t just build for today; we build with the future in mind. That includes investing in long-term partnerships, supporting workforce development, and giving back through community engagement. Whether we’re mentoring students, volunteering locally, or participating in Chamber initiatives, KE&G leads with integrity and heart.

To us, being part of the Marana Chamber of Commerce is a natural fit - it’s about building relationships, sharing knowledge, and contributing to a shared future.

Ceremony and Volunteer Information

Please help us Remember, Honor, and Teach on December 13, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. by sponsoring a wreath, volunteering, or inviting friends to help.

Here are some things to remember about the ceremony:

  • Everyone of all ages and backgrounds is welcome.
  • Allow time for families to place a wreath before the general public.
  • Please help ensure that all participants get the opportunity to place a wreath.
  • Please follow the location coordinator's instructions on where to place wreaths, as well as "how" they should be placed.
  • We especially appreciate volunteers willing to help clean up. Please check in with the location coordinator if you are interested in helping with the clean-up.

The most important thing to remember is to have a wonderful experience participating in the ceremony and thank you so much for helping Wreaths Across America achieve its mission to remember, honor, and teach.

TEP Donates $50K to Bolster Local Food Pantries Amid Growing Need for Food Assistance

Tucson, Ariz. – Tucson Electric Power (TEP) will donate $50,000 to fight hunger as children and families in our community face growing food insecurity.

TEP will donate the funding this week to the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona, which works with about 400 nonprofit agencies and other organizations to distribute food throughout Southern Arizona. The food bank anticipates a significant increase in requests this month for food assistance.

Gus

Meet Gus. This 7-month-old shepherd/boxer mix (about 40 pounds of wiggles and smiles) has graduated from the Ruff Life training program — though we’re not sure if he majored in Sit & Stay or Silly Faces 101. Gus is equal parts snuggle buddy and zoomie champion. He’s got the goofiest grin, the happiest tail, and a heart that just wants to make you laugh all day long. If joy had fur, it would look like Gus.

Adoption fee: $200. Neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations. Approved adoption application required.

Pina

Meet Pina. This scruffy 1-year-old, 17-pound terrier mix has that perfect mix of charm and scruff that makes him look like he just rolled out of a beach cabana and decided to steal your heart. He’s social, playful, and full of love for everyone he meets. If you’ve been looking for a little tropical joy in your life, this happy terrier is ready to mix things up and bring the good vibes home.
