NOVEMBER 13:
Congratulations to our 2019 All-State Choir members from Republic High School! 24 students are chosen each year from our district to attend the Missouri All-State Choir in January at the Missouri Music Educators Convention. These students go through two very vigorous audition procedures to be eligible to attend. Steven Brymer (left) and Megan Sly (middle) were selected for All-State Choir. Max Wood (right) was chosen as an alternate for the event. In addition, Megan Sly was chosen to attend the Missouri State Music Reading Bee to be held simultaneously with All-State choir. This suggests she received a perfect score on the music reading portion of the audition process!

NOVEMBER 11: Earlier today our Schofield Elementary friends celebrated Veterans Day by inviting local veterans to join them for donuts and SandArt creating! Together they made red, white and blue sand stars! Thank you to everyone who joined us for the fun! #repmoproud #proudtobeanamerican

NOVEMBER 8:  Did you know all of the clothing donations received for the Price Tag, a free clothing store open to all district elementary students inside Price Elementary, are laundered before they are available for students to shop? Yesterday, our Price bus drivers volunteered to take all of our current clothing donations and launder them after their morning routes. Our clothing store now has several items ready for shopping thanks to their time and kindness! #repmoproud

Lyon, Price and Sweeny families, make plans to join us for FREE shopping on November 15 from 5:00-6:00 p.m.

NOVEMBER 7: We had some exciting visitors today at Price Elementary! As many of you may be aware, Aubrey Thrasher is a Price Elementary student and has been a cancer patient at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital for the last year. (We are happy to report that Aubrey is doing well, by the way!) A few weeks ago Aubrey and her family were approached by St. Judes to be part of their Thanksgiving week special on the Today Show Aubrey and her family were flown out to New York City to do some filming and for some fun! As a follow-up, the Today Show reached out to Price Elementary late yesterday evening asking if they could send a camera crew to capture Aubrey at school. Therefore, this afternoon we hosted a team from the Today Show and St. Jude! We want to commend our students on their awesome behavior and our Price team for their flexibility during the visit of the Today Show and St. Jude! #repmoproud

NOVEMBER 1:
We are INCREDIBLY #REPMOPROUD of our students and employees! For "Socktober" they collected 3882 pairs of new socks to be donated to local charitable organizations in our area! They also had a fun time with this kindness challenge by wearing crazy socks throughout the month. Thank you to everyone who participated, we love your BIG HEARTS!
