Would you like to have a wide variety of person-centered planning (PCP) tools available at your fingertips? Come learn more about the development of the new North Carolina Person-Centered Planning Resource Toolkit website.

Join this official launch of the North Carolina Person-Centered Planning Resource Toolkit website. Our online PCP resource collection is designed to streamline access to high-quality person-centered planning tools and resources. As a part of this session, participants will gain insight on the development of the website, learn more about the curated resources featured, and receive practical tips on how to navigate the online resources to support the implementation of a wide variety of person-centered practices.

In this session we will:

  • Explore the online library of articles, guides, webinars, and best practices compiled and selected by nationally recognized PCP subject matter experts
  • Discuss opportunities to use PCP tools to increase engagement and partnering in the co-creation of person-centered plans with people and families.
  • Utilize the site's extensive search functions to focus your learning on specific audiences, age groups, disability populations, and presentation formats.

This training is designed for behavioral health practitioners to support them in meeting the expectations of the North Carolina Person-Centered Planning Guidance Document. It is a follow-up to the required introductory PCP training which was offered virtually throughout 2022-2023.

If you have not yet completed this introductory training, doing so is strongly recommended. The training, found on the UNC Behavioral Health Springboard’s website at

https://bhs.unc.edu/theory-practice-person-centered-planning-nc, is free of charge and can be taken at any time. If you have not yet completed the required PCP training, you are still welcome to join the webinar.
