At this time of year, many of us think about the blessings in our lives. We ask ourselves what we are most thankful for. What do we truly value?

I know that one of the things I thank God for every day is United Women in Faith, an organization that I have devoted my time, treasure, and talent to for many years.

United Women in Faith changes lives. It allows me to live out my faith in action. It is a sisterhood of incredible women. It is, quite simply, one of the things in my life apart from family that I value most. And when I value something, I want to make certain it thrives, now and in the future.

YOU ARE INVITED to join UWF for the next virtual "Voices from the Field" event featuring Emma Cantor, UWF Regional Missionary to Asia and the Pacific, and learn more about the transformational work of UWF in the lives of thousands women, children, and youth in the Philippines. An optional breakout session will follow the one-hour program.

In honor of Wesley-Rankin Center's (WRCC) 120th anniversary, the GoH GoH Girls (Girls of Honor, Girls of Honor) Leadership Program is selling commemorative glass ornaments for $40 each. Each ornament comes with a handwritten thank-you and a card explaining the program. These ornaments make perfect gifts (2X the giving!) or as a keepsake for your own tree this holiday season.

Each ornament purchase supports the GoH GoH Girls' travel to New York City in spring 2023 for the first time.

REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN for UWF members and women of faith from across Texas for the 36th Annual Texas Legislative Event (TLE). Presented in partnership with Texas Impact, this event is open to all who are committed to justice, freedom, and opportunity for all people, especially women and children.

Registration fees apply. Virtual options available. This three-day event includes two days of speakers, inspiration, and workshops where attendees can connect and learn more about putting their faith into action. Attendees will visit the Capitol on the third day and meet with lawmakers.
