Dear Neighbor,

The New York Red Bulls, a Major League Soccer team, have announced that they intend to build a new state-of-the-art training facility on a portion of the former Honeywell site off of Columbia Road. A request for rezoning of the Honeywell property by the Red Bulls has been received by the municipality.
The Red Bulls are proposing to purchase Lots 4 and 5 of the former Honeywell site, which have stood dormant for many years. This proposal appears to be a low-impact use of this large property and is anticipated to generate minimal traffic.

Should the Zoning Ordinance be adopted by the Township Committee, the proposed project would then go before the Planning Board in 2022 for site plan approval. Further public input would be taken during that process.
All meetings of the Township Committee and Planning Board are conducted by ZOOM. Please click the links above, the underlined red text to find ZOOM information.
