Our Sophomore Class Dinner and Student Services Program will be Wed, Dec 13, 6:30-8:30 pm in the Langley Cafeteria. Catering is by Moby Dick, House of Kabob. Our program speakers (Hannah Wolff, LHS College and Career Specialist, and Lauren Wagner, George Mason University Admissions Office) will be sharing their perspectives on Best Fit colleges and what sophomores and their families can do now to help find and prepare for that Best Fit. historic vmea performance
|
The Langley Wind Symphony gave a spectacular performance at the
Virginia Music Educators Association (VMEA) annual conference on Nov 17.
The group masterfully performed 10 pieces, spanning a wide range of musical styles and genres. Audience members, which included music teachers and students from throughout the state, were enthralled and visibly moved by the experience.
Performances at this event are by invitation only, and the Wind Symphony earned this honor --
the first VMEA invitation in school history -- on the strength of their phenomenal Spring Assessment/Music for All performances last March.
Links to videos of the VMEA performance can be found on the
Langley Band website.
Congratulations to Mr. Martin, Ms. Singer, Mr. Harrington, and all the students in the Wind Symphony!
