Commit to Collaboration

For the SCDRP 9th Annual Meeting, the Steering Committee has chosen to explore the theme: "Cultivating Climate-Resilient Communities: Advances in Communication & Collaboration." All meeting sessions will build off of this theme. We are also excited to announce that for the first time, SCDRP will be holding a Poster Session during the Annual Meeting. Poster Abstracts will be accepted between now and December 2nd. Selected posters will be displayed for the duration of the meeting, and participants will have the opportunity to share their information with meeting attendees during Poster Sessions. Posters will not be judged, just shared.

The Center  will prioritize applications from communities that have experienced historical patterns of discrimination, underinvestment and disenfranchisement and have limited resources to conduct heat monitoring on their own. Rural communities, tribal nations, U.S. territories and communities that have not previously undergone heat mapping are especially encouraged to apply.

Apply Here by January 17, 2025.
