Premier Game Table Brand, 11 Ravens, Announces New Limited Edition Wayne Gretzky Stealth Table

Los Angeles, April 26, 2021, For Immediate Release … 11 Ravens, the premier US-based design and manufacturing company for custom luxury billiards, table tennis, poker, mahjong, and more, today is officially announcing the release of its limited edition Wayne Gretzky Stealth Ping Pong Table in honor of his legacy as a premier, world-renowned athlete. With this release, 11 Ravens expands its league of all-stars who understand and believe in the level of innovation and performance that the company represents and delivers.
Five limited edition tables are for sale, with a portion of the proceeds directed to supporting creativity and athletics through the Sport & Art Educational Foundation (SAEF). SAEF offers ‘table tennis therapy’ to enhance the lives of individuals with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia through specialized play.
"Collaborations are a driving force for 11 Ravens. Whether it be athletes, artists, charities, or other luxury brands, we find that partnerships open up new worlds and create community around good design,” states Michael Zaretsky, former professional table-tennis player and founder of 11 Ravens.
Throughout 2021, 11 Ravens will be releasing a number of “All Star League” game tables which are designed in partnership with world famous athletes, artists, and others at the top of their fields who bring their own brand identity, perfectionism, and love of games to their table design.
Gretzky’s custom table with 11 Ravens follows the success of the British soccer legend Steven Gerrard’s custom white Theseus Shuffleboard with the brand. Gerrard and Zaretsky developed a relationship during planning and installation of a regular ping pong table, and discovered a common interest in more artful game table designs. It is just that kind of personal connection, leading to customized pieces, that helps make 11 Ravens so highly valued.
“Athletes of many professional sports are known for enjoying the practice of table tennis for hand-eye coordination and as an outlet for team comradery. We have created tables for sports teams and athletic spaces including the Vancouver Canucks, Greenwich Polo Club, and the Tottenham Spurs,” notes Zaretsky. “These experiences led us to working with Wayne, as he is not only an all-star of the National Hockey League and an influence to the rules of the game itself, but also an incredible person, a family man, and a positive influence.”
The ice hockey legend, who celebrated his birthday on the day of the photoshoot with his own table, helped design his signature table as something that can be used by the entire family for fun and to keep active. The game offers the opportunity for his family, in particular his daughter (a professional tennis player), to practice sports-related skills, such as hand-eye coordination, especially when practicing outdoors was not a regular option this past year.

“The limited edition table is an homage to Wayne's career and a celebration of family, as it provides a form of entertainment and athletics for the Gretzkys. As Wayne has famously said, ‘You miss 100% of the shots you don't take.’ Having the opportunity to work with Wayne was an absolute pleasure and an experience that sparked new vision for our design,” states Zaretsky.
