From The Editors July 28th, 2020

In this edition of British Columbia Golf's newsletter, Brad Ziemer previews the BC Amateur Championship, taking place this week at the Okanagan Golf Club's Bear Course, by looking at '10 players to watch' in the 118th playing of this event.

Brad has a couple of additional interesting articles on the BC Amateur including how players will be issued an additional 'tool' to carry in their golf bags this week.

The Team BC Performance squad was able to reschedule a training camp, originally planned for a few months back in Arizona, for Mayfair Lakes GC in Richmond, BC. Both players and coaches were impressed with how it went and how it was run to allow for Covid-19 protocols.

You'll want to check out the Golf Canada Foundation Sweepstakes where you can win great VIP Golf Packages. Proceeds are put toward the Covid-19 Golf Relief Fund.

Also, we are sad to report the loss of one of BC's really good people and an outstanding golfer, as 4-time BC Senior Men's Champion Gudmund Lindbjerg passed away following a battle with cancer.

Enjoy your golf and please stay safe.
