This three-hour seminar for nurses, paramedics and EMTs will focus on preventing and treating UTIs in older women, optimizing possible drug therapies for chronically ill elderly patients and caring for the elderly who are experiencing altered mental status.
Medication Error Prevention and Patient Safety

This three-hour seminar for pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and nurses will focus on the importance of organizational culture for supporting medication error reporting, the role of patient- and family-centered care in patient safety, and the optimization of drug allergy captures in clinical decision support systems.
