National Benefit Fund Launches Primary Care Option Through Teladoc

Committed to providing quality primary care for all 1199SEIU members, the National Benefit Fund (NBF) is launching Primary360 through Teladoc, effective December 1. This program offers members and their eligible dependents the convenience of a virtual primary care option. The program’s providers conduct annual exams, deliver preventive care, diagnose and treat health concerns, help members manage chronic conditions, prescribe medications and refer members to in-network specialists when necessary.

Members can choose a provider based on specialty, language, gender and availability, and they may see the same provider throughout the course of their care. They will get additional support from a Care Team, which includes registered nurses, medical assistants and care coordinators. The NBF is reaching out to members and their dependents who have not had a primary care visit in the past few years to inform them of this new option. For more information, members may also visit www.Teladoc.com or call (800) TELADOC (835-2362).
