Dr. Sudhir B. Patel, MD


Dr. Sudhir B. Patel, a respected neonatologist in Bakersfield, California, brings over 30 years of expertise. He is associated with multiple hospitals in the Kern County area. With a medical degree from the University of Southampton Faculty of Medicine, he honed his skills through roles in England, followed by a residency in General Pediatrics at the University of Utah and a Fellowship in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine at UC-Davis. Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and its Subboard of Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine, Dr. Patel is a distinguished medical professional.




Beth Stephens-Hennessy, RNC-OB, EFM, MSN, CNS


Beth Stephens-Hennessy has been a nurse for 42 years. She obtained her BSN from the University of San Franciso and MSN and Perinatal Clinical Nurse Specialist from the University of California San Francisco. She obtained her Legal Nurse Consultant Certificate from Hayward State University. Beth has worked in various positions from staff to Department Director, Clinical Instructor at Samuel Merritt University and in her current role as Perinatal Clinical Nurse Specialist at Sutter Medical Center Sacramento. Beth has been involved in AWHONN and CMQCC. She has held several AWHONN Chapter positions and just recently was the California AWHONN Section Chair. She has participated in the writing team of CMQCC Supporting Vaginal Birth and Maternal Sepsis.
