The Student Grant Council Introduces the New Peer-to-Peer Support Grant Program
We are excited to announce the launch of a new program for our students at Kehillah, supported by the Jewish Community Federation and Endowment Fund (JCFEF): the Student Grant Council!
Kehillah students can now apply for grant funding to create peer-to-peer support programs that enhance community well-being. Applications are open until December 20 and will be reviewed by the Student Grant Council, guided by the Director of Community Partnerships and Grantmaking at JCFEF Amanda Cohen.

📣 Calling All Creatives: Special Guests Wanted for "The Accidental Artist" Immersive 🎨
Led by our Associate Head of School Dr. Roy Danovitch, our K-Term immersive “The Accidental Artist” is celebrating spontaneous creativity and the beauty of imperfect expression. Through this experience, students have the opportunity to dive into experimental artistic techniques.
Dr. Danovitch is looking for special guest collaborators who are able to enrich this immersive. If you or someone you know is an illustrator, cartoonist, muralist, graphic/media designer, photographer, podcaster, or any creative exploring unconventional techniques, please connect with Dr. Danovitch.
Guests might lead an in-person workshop, share their creative journeys, or bring inspiration and resources to the immersive.

The Accidental Artist: Artistic Creation for Everyone
Celebrate the joy of spontaneous expression and the beauty of imperfection! This course invites students of all artistic backgrounds—from "stick figure specialists" to "closet Picassos"—to delve into creativity without the pressure of perfection. We will embrace the ethos that art doesn't always need a plan as we explore doodling, freestyle drawing, experimental painting, guerrilla graffiti, digital scribbling, and more!
