District Update from Dr. Wagner
Dear Fairview Families,

I hope all are well and staying safe.  Thank you for everything you’ve been doing to help keep your children engaged in their classes during our current remote learning.  Your support and efforts make a HUGE difference toward keeping these weeks between Thanksgiving and Winter Break focused and productive.  We are closely monitoring the weekly virus statistics throughout the state and in Cuyahoga County, and are doing everything we can to deliver the best education and services possible while also protecting the safety and welfare of our children and staff.  I am tremendously proud of the persistence, creativity, and efforts everyone has shown through these difficult times.  I know this is so terribly difficult, but we WILL get through this.  Thank you SO much for your patience, support, and compassion.  I cannot begin to express how much it is appreciated.

In his weekly press briefing today, Governor DeWine said, “The next three weeks will be the most important three weeks of this pandemic”.  The ODH has issued the following guidelines for Ohioans and all but begged people to follow them.  I know it’s not easy, but please do all you can to comply with them.
Developed by a team of doctors, the new guidance consists of the following 10 protocols:

  • Stay at home
  • Wear your mask
  • Keep interactions short and stay apart
  • Wash your hands
  • Work from home
  • Celebrate safe and celebrate small
  • Don't eat or drink with anyone outside your household
  • Limit travel
  • Keep weddings and funerals safe
  • Enjoy safe holiday activities
The Governor mentioned that our collective behavior during the next three weeks will have a dramatic impact on the ability of schools to get students back to school any time soon.  We all want our students back in school.  Please help the effort…

Stay safe!
