Below you will find news and information about the Republic School District. As a reminder, regular issues of Tiger Talk will be distributed on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month during the school year. Two summer issues in June and July will be distributed as well.
Winter Break
The Republic School District will be closed for Winter Break on December 24-January 1. In addition, students will not attend school on Wednesday, January 2 for a teacher work day. The second semester will begin on Tuesday, January 3. For families in need of childcare, Cub Care through the STRIPES 360 program will be available for kindergarten through 8th grade students on limited days throughout this break.  CLICK HERE for more information.
State Assessment Individual Student Reports
Each spring students across the district participate in state assessments. We have been notified by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) that Individual Student Reports (ISR) are available. On December 14 individual student reports will be distributed to students who are currently in grades 4-9 that completed the MAP-GLA assessment last spring. A guide to interpreting your child's results will be included.

In addition, individual student reports for the Missouri Assessment Program End-of-Course exams taken in the spring of 2018 have been received by the district. These reports along with information regarding how to read the results will be distributed to students in grades 10-12 on December 14. Please contact Dr. Debbie Yonke, District Test Coordinator (732-3605, extension 6010) if you have any questions.
