Hello Artisans,

This SIP edition offers up some of our favorite Washington reds at everyday pricing, featuring the wines of Columbia Crest. Washington's legendary winery, Columbia Crest. Columbia Crest is well known for outstanding quality at a reasonable price. Their 2005 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon was the #1 Wine of the World on Wine Spectator's Top 100 Wines of 2009! Their H3 series, which has also been a top 100 alumnus, has been one of our best selling Washington reds under $15 across multiple vintages.

Since its first appearance in 1999, Columbia Crest's "Grand Estates" collection has held the reputation of being the best value wine that constantly over-delivers. Using only the best fruit from Washington State's Columbia Valley and employing artisan winemaking practices (such as hand-stirring the Chardonnay weekly), these wines prove that a grand scale doesn't have to mean sacrificing high quality. This is an incredible package to enjoy now - and later, too, since we include two bottles of each wine!

Winemaker Juan Muñoz-Oca joined Columbia Crest in 2003 and was named winemaker in 2011. Raised in Mendoza, Argentina, Muñoz-Oca came under the tutelage of his grandfather, cellar master at Bodegas Toso winery, at a young age. The older man instilled in him a love and respect for wine, as well as for his family’s Spanish culture, that was to become the root of a lifelong passion for winemaking.

The retail value for this 12-bottle package (2 of each wine) is $198.00 and our discounted Artisan pricing was $127.72...but NOW we are packaging these superb wines together to deliver an astounding value of ONLY $82.96 per case!

The blend usually includes Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot as well as a small quantity of Viognier to smooth out the blending.
