12 - November 2, 2020

Dear Parents of Students Opting-In to Module 1,

On Thursday and Friday last week, our students scheduled to participate in Group A Hybrid Learning completed PCR testing on campus. The process went very smoothly and we do not anticipate any issues when Group B students begin to test on campus Tuesday and Wednesday this week. We expect many of you received the test results for your child(ren) already from the Fundacion Santa Fe. When you do receive those results, we need all parents to send those results as an attachment using the email address, pcrtest@cng.edu

The deadline to send PCR student results will be:

  • Group A students - Thursday, November 5
  • Group B students - Thursday, November 12

As a reminder, CNG handles the personal data of its students and parents according to its Data Processing Policy which can be found here; and that the data processing has been authorized by the holders during the registration process or in other instances.

Thank you for doing this in a timely manner.

Dear Parents:

We hope you are all doing well and the student COVID-19 testing has been smooth for your children. We have developed this CNG Hybrid Model Parent Frequently Asked Questions document which we encourage you to read in case you have questions.

As well, this is the Daily Survey Link for Students which parents/students will need to complete one hour prior to their student getting on a bus and/or arriving on campus. Please note that students in ES, MS, and HS can also access this Daily Survey Link in the Single Sign On in the Biosecurity folder.

Wishing you all a wonderful week!

Thank you!

CNG Thanksgiving 2020

Dear CNG Community:

The National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) and the National Honor Society (NHS) have been planning a new way to ensure that Thanksgiving still comes to CNG! We encourage parents to watch this video by the NHS and this video by the NJHS. Instead of food baskets to be given in thanks to our 196 CNG General Services and the 53 FHNG workers, the NHS and NJHS will be organizing Sodexo cash cards for each employee. We encourage parents to make a donation using this link (please note you will need your CNG family code and student code). We are asking parents to make a donation of COP$30,000 per child in the family.

Plans are in the works for a CNG Condor Family virtual celebration as well as the sharing of caring messages throughout our campus for our General Services workers, the closer we get to Thanksgiving.

We thank you for your support!

Athletics & Condor Activities

Hybrid learning is on the horizon! Although, Condor Activities and Athletics will remain virtual during hybrid learning this semester. Primary and Elementary schedules for athletics and activities will stay the same, while Middle and High School will take place in a morning or afternoon session. The instructors and coaching staff will provide their students and team with the new schedule.

This week we will host our second athletics captain council meeting. In our last meeting, we were able to connect with our captains to receive valuable feedback and brainstormed ideas on how to create culture while in distance learning. We are excited to see how the council evolves as the year progresses.

GO CONDORS!!!
