Dear CNG Parents/Guardians,
The resources have been categorized around the three pillars of our vision statement to engage our students in activities to educate the mind, strengthen the body, and to develop character through opportunities to practice leadership and service.
The resources have been organized by school building so they are age appropriate and differentiated to promote student agency, choice, and engagement. You will also find a section called Social-Emotional Tools and Tips for a Healthy Vacation Time towards the bottom which we encourage you to review.
Lastly, we are in the process of adding a list of CNG employees who are willing to serve as age-appropriate tutors during the summer weeks in case you and your child would like to consider this option. Tutoring reflects a private arrangement between a family and a tutor and is an independent activity/paid directly by parents/ legal guardians. Please note that all tutors on this list will be following the CNG Code of Honor and Disciplinary Policy and the CNG Children and Adolescent Protection Manual. These are also posted to the bottom of each page.
We hope you and your child(ren) find in these resources a passport to an exciting summer that will keep their brains, bodies, and character active in fun and engaging ways!

ES
Elementary School
Dear ES Families,
Our children could not have been successful during this unpredictable time without the effort we have all invested. It is a time of mixed emotions. While
relief
comes to mind, so does
joy
- the joy of knowing that we have made a concerted effort on their behalf. It has made a difference for them and for one another. Cheers to 2019-2020!
Your Partnership is Greatly Appreciated!

Primary School
Dear Primary School Parents!
We made it!!!! Three months of distance learning, and although we haven´t been together physically, we´ve grown and united as a community like never before. Teachers, Parents, Students, Admin have come together to support each other, give strength when things seem like they are becoming difficult, celebrate accomplishments and laugh and cry together with the simplest of things.
|
|
Dear Parents,
We want to thank you for your partnership, commitment, and constant communication during these months of distance learning.
Your collaboration has allowed us to turn a difficult time into a huge learning opportunity and we have all come out stronger in the end. It has been heartening to join you in the end of the year transition meetings and hear about all of the growth children have made. During these months children have acquired some of the most important skills for the future. They have grown in responsibility, independence, perseverance, flexibility, adaptability, and resilience, skills that will continue to nourish their academic and personal growth for a long time.
Thank you!
