A Word from the CEO
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family! We had a beautiful fall in the northeast, but the weather is beginning to turn cold. We hope you enjoy the warmth of your family over the holiday.
Thanksgiving also reminds us that the year is drawing to a close. This is a great time to consider ways to reduce the taxes you owe. Adding to your JRB retirement account reduces your taxable income dollar-for-dollar while building long-term financial security. But you must act quickly! To reduce your 2024 taxes, you must make the contribution by December 31. Don't delay. Speak to your payroll administrator today.
Learn more about tax saving opportunities in our article "12 End-of-Year Tax Tips."
While you are speaking with your payroll administrator, ask them about increasing your salary reduction contribution for 2025. The IRS raised the amount you can contribute next year. Read about it in our article below.
The #1 factor determining the size of your nest egg is the amount you contribute to your JRB retirement account. The #2 factor is how you invest those funds. To learn more about the investment choices available to you, see our article in this month's issue.
The JRB continues our testimonials with participants, speaking with Hazzan Alisa Pomerantz-Boro of Congregation Beth El in Voorhees, NJ. She discusses the importance of working with the JRB to build retirement security and offers excellent advice for cantors and rabbis on negotiating their contracts.
If you have questions about taxes, investments or your overall financial goals, please contact us via email or call us at 888-JRB-FREE (572-3733).
