Winter Shelter Volunteer Signups

Folsom Winter Shelter 2025 begins on Thursday Jan 2, and the shelter needs you for weekly shifts at Intake and Shelter! Your participation is crucial! Signup HERE.

HART partners with the City of Folsom, faith communities, local businesses and groups to help unhoused folks find rest, loving community and resources to move ahead. Guests in the 2024 shelter have found housing and programs to make a change.

Find what fits you - Storage Pod, Intake, Welcome Team, Morning Team, Drivers, Supply Transport – we especially need Drivers daily as SacRT is no longer able to provide weekday service.

We provide training for all. Signups, information and contact info are all HERE!

Four Cornerstones!

Hart of Folsom, Oak Hills Church, Folsom Lake College, and the Founder’s Corner, are the four cornerstones of HART’s 2025 building project to house homeless Folsom Lake College Students. Our four-way partnership makes the dream to build the first interim housing project in Folsom a reality with each of us as an anchor of the new building for student housing.

For the past five years, HART and Oak Hills Church have partnered successfully to house homeless individuals on the Oak Hills Church Campus. Today, our expanded partnership with Folsom Lake College and the Founder’s Corner gives us the strong foundation needed to launch the 2025 building project for student housing.

Individuals, business owners, and corporations in Folsom that support the new student housing with a financial commitment are the Founder’s Corner. We hope many more citizens, businesses, and corporations in Folsom will join us. Together, we can successfully reduce homelessness in Folsom!
