125 years strong
We are ecstatic to announce Volunteer's of America Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho will be celebrating our 125 year anniversary this year. Our affiliate was one of the first to be started when the national group founded in 1896.

Celebrations for such an amazing milestone will kickoff with -
  • 3/8 Proclamation by the Mayor of Spokane
  • 3/15 - 3/18 Riverfront Pavilion Lightening
  • 3/15 - 3/19 Logo on the Clocktower in Riverfront Park

Festivities will continue throughout the year along side our annual events.

To celebrate, we are asking for the community to give 125 acts of volunteer work to VOA, because we cannot do this work without you!

We have a many ways for you to give back including:
  • Assemble hygiene kits to hand out to those experiencing homelessness
  • Book donations for the women of Hope House
  • Donate baby essentials such as a diapers and formula
  • Host a class! Art, cooking, gardening you name it! We would love to have you share your special talents with us
  • Moving assistance to the new Hope House Shelter in April
  • Provide a move in kit to assist a youth moving into their first place
