Colonel David Guida

Commander for JMTC



Colonel David Guida has been in this line of work for over two decades, starting off as an Infantry Soldier in 1998. He attended Officer Candidate School (OCS) at Fort Benning, Georgia, and the Command and General Staff College, Intermediate Level Education (ILE) at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas.


In January 2018, Colonel Guida assumed command of the 101st BSB, 1st ABCT, 1st ID and deployed in support of Atlantic Resolve in January of 2019. He then served as 1st ID Chief of Sustainment (G4). After graduating from the United States Army War College, Colonel Guida became the Director of Mobility and Power Projection, Army Sustainment Command in Rock Island Arsenal, Illinois.


His numerous awards include: Bronze Star Medal (w/2olc), Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal (w4olc), Army Commendation Medal (w/2olc), Army Achievement Medal (w/7olc), Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal, Iraqi Campaign Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal, Non-Commissioned Officer Professional Development Ribbon, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon (w/4), NATO Medal, The Polish Army Medal, Combat Action Badge, the Expert Infantryman’s Badge and the Joint Chiefs of Staff Identification Badge.

Dan Reilly

Deputy to the Commanding General at Army Sustainment Command


Dan Reilly enlisted in the U.S. Army Reserve in 1984 and was later commissioned as an Ordnance Officer in 1986, eventually retiring from active duty in 2015 at the rank of colonel. He commanded soldiers at the company, battalion, and brigade levels in garrison, peacekeeping, and combat operations.


In October 2023, Colonel Reilly assumed the responsibility of deputy to the commanding general. In this position, he leads and directs the command’s global sustainment mission encompassing a workforce of approximately 40,000 Soldiers, Civilians, and Contractors.


Colonel Reilly is a graduate of the Air Force War College with a master’s degree in National Strategic Studies, a master’s degree in administration from Central Michigan University, and a Bachelor of Arts in communication from Eastern Illinois University. He holds Acquisition Level III certification in Life Cycle Logistics.

His awards and decorations include the Superior Civilian Service Award, Bronze Star, two Legion of Merits, two Defense Meritorious Service Medals, six Meritorious Service Medals, five Army Commendation Medals, the Iraq Campaign Medal with three service stars, as well as Airborne and Air Assault Badges.
