The latest from Indy's innovation district.
SAY HELLO TO HQO | COMING 2021

In July, 16 Tech Community Corporation introduced HqO, the newly branded innovation hub for the 16 Tech Innovation District. As the central gathering place in 16 Tech, HqO is where district residents, workers, neighbors, and visitors go to collaborate, eat, drink, unwind, and enjoy a variety of events, activities and programs.

Behind the brand: The name not only marks the headquarters of the District, but honors the building’s history as the former Indianapolis Water Company.
HqO is designed to foster innovation, creativity and connection. It is home to three activity centers with unique offerings and opportunities. Learn more about the artisan marketplace, makerspace, and private and flexible workplaces.

A line-up of community and business leaders, including Mayor Joe Hogsett and City-County Council President Vop Osili, participated in the ceremony onsite, while hundreds of individuals tuned in on Zoom.
