√ Children's Mini Tent Revival (Life in the Spirit Seminar) is next week - July 20-23, Wednesday thru Saturday. Hours are from 9am to 3 pm. This is for children ages 7-12. This will be held in the lower church hall with access to outdoor tents for some activities.
Register your children now (free) by calling Sr Genevieve Okoro, DMMM at 862-215-2198 or register online by clicking right here.
As we all know, the children have too much time on their hands this summer. Get them out of the clutches of the Internet & television and immerse them in 3 days of intensive but amazingly fun Holy Spirit workout, with praise & worship, bible stories, and an animated children's Life in the Spirt Seminar, culminating in prayers for the baptism of the Holy Spirit. And in between, plenty of fun games, arts & crafts, kiddie gardening, a musical play, and more! More exciting details inside.
√ Our Parish Picnic is next Saturday, July 23 in the Ringwood State Park!
We need to to have an idea of how many are coming!

Are you and your family coming?
How many need a ride?
Please call 973-623-0258 or text message to 551-689-0107 right away if you need a ride.

We are car-pooling and leaving at 9:30 from the parking lot.

Bring your whole family & a favorite dish to share!

Our reserved area is is right by a beautiful lake, surrounded by thick groves of trees, picnic grounds and playgrounds. We can go boating on the lake, go on hiking trails and visit the historic manor on the other side of the park . Or just hang out and enjoy the barbecue on the grill.
This picnic is the day after the Children's Tent Revival. The plan is for the children who attended the Tent Revival to present a prepared musical play during our picnic.
As had been announced earlier, this picnic doubles as the parish celebration for Fr Joseph's 30th anniversary. We did have a small anniversary reception last May 29 after Mass (the day before his actual anniversary), but this picnic is the intended bigger celebration. So please come with your whole family. More inside!
√  33 DAYS TO MORNING GLORY- preparation for the consecration to Jesus thru Mary, just started. It's at 6:30pm, before our daily 7 pm Rosary. All on Zoom.

This started last Wednesday, July 13, on the day of 3rd apparition of our Lady of Fatima to the children and will end on the Feast of the Assumption of our Lady on August 15.

This is a do-it-yourself retreat, based on Fr Michael Gaitley's book. But instead of doing this self-retreat individually as we have done at the parish in the past, we will have the opportunity to listen to the actual text being read and reflected on by Fr. Adam Potter. . With the reflections and prayers- it's just half an hour.
Join us!
If you have not yet gone through the preparation for the consecration to Jesus thru Mary, this is a great opportunity, especially at this time when we are in great need of the special protection of Jesus and Mary. And of course for those who have already been consecrated in the past, there is always more in renewing your consecration.
Here is the Zoom link.
More about 33 Days to Morning Glory inside, including catch up reading materials.

Mission Statement of Divine Adoration Prayer Group

Divine Adoration Prayer group is a Charismatic and intercessory prayer group that is focused mainly on Eucharistic Adoration. The members of the prayer group believe strongly in the presence and power of Jesus in the Holy Eucharistic. This is why the act of worship and adoration of Jesus is the backbone of the prayer group.

The ultimate goal of the Divine Adoration prayer group is to get all men and women to adore Jesus in the Eucharist, develop a personal relationship with Him as our Savior, Lord and Friend, encounter Him in a special way and enjoy the unfathomable love and grace that flow to us from His loving heart.

Divine Adoration Prayer Group meets for Eucharistic Adoration & intercessory prayers before the Blessed Sacrament every Saturday, from 3pm-6pm. The First Saturday of the month is a Healing Mass.

FOOD
Please let us know if you are bringing any dish to share.
Please call Nkiru Anopueme @ 973-570-5251 .
Since it is going to be a hot day, please avoid bringing food that will spoil, unless you keep it in an ice cooler. We will have 3 large grills for our use. The rectory will take care of bringing burgers and hotdogs and possibly some fish to grill. Suggestions for you to bring: fruits, salads, desserts, and cooked dishes.

TRANSPORTATION
Ringwood State Park is about 31 miles from here. We will carpool and leave from St. Antoninus at 9:30 sharp. Pls inform us AS SOON AS POSSIBLE if you need a ride by emailing here.

Outdoor Mass is at 12 Noon
We are celebrating Fr Joseph's 30th Anniversary as a Priest of Jesus Christ.
In fact, this picnic is our parish celebration of Father's 30 year, 1/3 of which has been as our beloved pastor at St Antoninus.
Below are some photos of Shepherd's Lake, the area that has been reserved for us.
Ringwood State Park is a 5,000 acre state park with many hiking trails. Ringwood State Park entrance is just across the street from the NJ Botanical Garden entrance and Shepherd’s Lake.
In addition to the hiking trails, there is a small playground for little children and a serene area of babbling brooks with a bridge and picnic tables.

The spring-fed waters of the 74-acre Shepherd Lake offer excellent recreational opportunities, as well as providing a stunning backdrop for a barbecue.
The area also offers picnicking, a playground, boating, fishing and access
to a network of trails suitable for hiking, mountain biking and other activities.
A great time and place to be with
Family & friends!

We need volunteers to organize our parish picnic. Please call the office 973-623-0258 to find out how you can help. Thank you!

Heads up! Real Love Ministries 17th Annual Conference- on the last weekend of August! More information will be given soon.
Everyone is invited to join our zoom meetings for

33 Days to Morning Glory
"Do-it-yourself" Retreat

A Preparation
for Total Consecration
to Jesus through Mary

Based on Fr. Michael Gaitley, MIC’ s book & DVDs
Our preparation for our Marian Consecration is through a group retreat which started last Wednesday, July 13, and will end on Monday, August 15, on the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

All the meetings are at 6:30pm, before the 7pm Rosary, both of which will be on Zoom.

Here is the Zoom link for both 33 Days to Morning Glory & our daily Rosary.

On Monday, August 15, on the Feast of the Assumption of our Blessed Mother, we will offer our formal Act of Consecration to Jesus thru Mary.

This will be during parish Mass at 7pm.

The preparation for this consecration involves thirty three days of daily readings & prayers from Fr Gaitley's book, "33 Days to Morning Glory".

This year's preparation will be different. ( Our last one was on 2019; this will be our 6th Total Consecration preparation in the past 10 years )

Instead of individually reading the daily reflections and meeting in person, we will do this together on Zoom, except for the final day at Mass which will be in person (but available on YouTube for those who will not be able to come in person).

For our 33 days of Zoom meetings, if there is time after the 7 pm daily Rosary, we will have a small group sharing & prayers.
What is a Total Consecration to Jesus thru Mary?

St. Louis de Montfort said that the "surest, easiest, and most perfect means” to becoming a saint is through the Total Consecration.

The basic premise of Total Consecration is simply that Jesus came into the world through Mary and that for us to be truly close to Jesus, it is best to go through Mary.

We will view Mary and her role in bringing us to Jesus through the eyes of St. Louis de Montfort, St. Maximilian Kolbe, St. Mother Teresa and St. John Paul II.
St. Louis de Montfort
St. Maximilian Kolbe
St. Teresa of Calcutta

St. Pope John Paul Il
Below, watch three 2-minute segment videos by Fr Michael Gaitley, the presenter & author of 33 Days to Morning Glory .
What is Marian consecration and why should we do it?
The goal of the Marian Consecration is God.
Mary is just our conduit.
The essence of Marian Consecration is to give Mary our YES to use her full motherly power to form us into saints .
