The Institute's 16th Youth Leadership Summit for Sustainable Development

The Institute’s 16th Youth Leadership Summit for Sustainable Developmentwas a great success! The weeklong intensive program featured students from the Global Learning Charter Public School in New Bedford, Massachusetts. The Summit planning process began in February 2020 when we worked with the GLPCS Leadership & Career Counseling Department and 70 students completed the Institute's SustainWDN Youth Survey. At the request of GLPCS principal to accommodate for the national quarantine, we adapted the Institute's Summit curriculum to a dynamic, virtual interactive learning experience.
The Institute's Young Heroes Fund provides financial grants, training, mentors and network to youth leaders featured in the book Stone Soup for a Sustainable World: Life-Changing Stories of Young Heroes. Grants will be given to a select few to scale their organizations to reach millions of other young people. Join us!
