At Least 17 Lives Saved in 2020 So Far!
We Must Continue Helping Moms and Babies
|
|
With the world still knee-deep in COVID-19, our work to help mothers in need is more critical than ever. And while we've been focused on the Love Life Amendment and the Supreme Court, we have continued to make strides for life! Here are some updates:
- 17 confirmed lives saved in 2020! While we had to cancel our Baton Rouge Bowties for Babies event, our Advertise for Life work has continued. In 2020 alone, we have 17 confirmed babies saved from abortion through our online ads reaching women and directing them to local pregnancy centers! Recently in Shreveport, a young woman wanted to have an abortion, but set an appointment at a pregnancy center after seeing our ad. When she saw her ultrasound, she chose life! We believe there are more stories just like this that we can't track because so many more are interacting with our ads. Our Baton Rouge Instagram campaign had 50,624 impressions in June alone! Check out our stats and a quick overview below!

- Do you know your local pregnancy center? Louisiana’s front-line pregnancy centers are critical to helping mothers both before and after birth. Do you know your local pregnancy center? Search our ADifficultChoice.com site to find one near to you. Call them and ask how they need help.
- Diapers to Families in Need: In April and May we distributed more than 30,000 diapers in New Orleans, and we are looking now at similar efforts in other locations. We also supported legislation this session to allow local municipalities to remove the sales tax on diapers to help families. But your local pregnancy center is likely giving out diapers right now. Please reach them and offer your help!
Thanks for your continued partnership with Louisiana Right to Life as we advance the pro-life cause during these challenging times!
For a Pro-Life Louisiana,
Benjamin Clapper

Will You Donate to the Love Life Amendment Campaign and Help Us Spread the Message?
|
|
|
This fall, on the Nov. 3 presidential ballot, you will have the opportunity to vote on a pro-life constitutional amendment called the "
Love Life Amendment
." This is a crucial effort to protect unborn babies and their mothers by making sure there is no right to abortion or the funding of abortion in the Louisiana Constitution. But pro-abortion groups, likely with out-of-state money, will fight us. In 2018, for instance, pro-abortion groups spent more than $1.5 million to fight a similar amendment in Alabama. We need your help to get our message out and combat the message of pro-abortion groups! Will you make a donation to the campaign today?

Are you willing to share a baby picture of your child or grandchild? Time is running out so please get your photos in ASAP!
