Dear friend,

Firefly is 18 glowing years old!

When I launched the Firefly Group out of my home in 2003, I couldn’t have imagined it would become the only full-service marketing and public relations firm of its kind on the Treasure Coast. Back then, I had two young kids and this “third baby” called Firefly.

During those early years, Firefly provided traditional PR services to our diverse clients. As technology developed and people changed the way they communicate, Firefly evolved as well. Today, we offer comprehensive marketing, branding, digital, and social media solutions for Florida-based clients and beyond.

But one thing hasn't changed over the years: our core values. We're deeply committed to working with our clients to advance the common good.

Whether it's House of Hope striving to end hunger and hardship, the Martin Metropolitan Planning Organization's Vision Zero Martin initiative to eliminate all traffic-related fatalities, or Knight Kiplinger creating an innovative, sustainable mixed-use community, our clients' goals are lofty and their passion for their missions fuel our creativity.

While events on a larger scale continue to create uncertainty in the world, we remain focused on doing what we do best - collaborating with our clients and colleagues to build better communities.

Thank you for playing a part in our celebration of eighteen years of illuminating ideas, glowing results, and successful storytelling!

With deep gratitude,
Stacy Weller Ranieri

We are excited to welcome our newest firefly - Jessica Levy.
A graduate of the University of Florida with a bachelor’s degree in public relations, Jessica was an intern (a/k/a "glowworm") at Firefly during her college years and has returned to the firm as a Marketing/PR Coordinator a/k/a - Spark Starter.

“At Firefly, there's always another communications challenge to solve for a client, an opportunity to reach out to the community to educate them about an important issue, or a special event to bring people together. For me, it’s the ideal place to work,” Levy says.

Our client, House of Hope, always innovative in its programming, sponsored the panel discussion “At the Crossroads of Poverty and Health” on September 24. Four local nonprofit leaders discussed how poverty and health are related and how this relationship presents challenges among our friends and neighbors. Our own Pat Austin served as panel moderator and facilitator extraordinaire! Pat has been active in the region’s nonprofit community for more than three decades. She brings her unique perspective to the discussion based on her service over the years as an employee, a volunteer, and a board member with several nonprofit organizations.

Congratulations to our very own Jar Tender and Creative Director, Melissa Zolla, who’s going back to school! She’s been selected for this year’s illustrious LEADERship Martin Class 31, spearheaded by the Stuart/Martin County Chamber of Commerce. The program offers participants an in-depth look at all facets of our community. Its success is reflected in the broad base of leaders who have gone through the program and chosen to make a difference. Let us know if you've been through LEADERship Martin!

Congratulations to our Chief Illuminator in her new role on the Foundation Board of Helping People Succeed! "They're in the midst of a capital campaign and other transformative projects so it's a really exciting time to be part of their leadership team and I'm honored to serve," explained Ranieri. Founded in 1964, the non-profit provides a broad range of services for adults with disabilities, families at risk of abuse or neglect, families with newborns, and students with behavioral or mental health issues.

A Million Dollar Milestone

At the heart of Firefly has been our ongoing commitment to the non-profit organizations for whom we have provided deeply discounted or pro-bono services over the years.

For a small, woman-owned business, being able to donate more than one million dollars in services since Firefly’s inception is something that gives us indescribable joy.

Check out the many clients we've been honored to serve over the years...
