Last Month's Highlights
We’re so grateful to our incredible community partners: Victory Home Remodeling; Jack and Jill of America, Jersey Shore Chapter; and The Young Adult Missionary Society (YAMS) at St. Stephen AME Zion Church in Asbury Park, for recently hosting donation drives in support of 180.
Your thoughtful collections of personal hygiene products, pajamas, hats, gloves, and more are truly appreciated and make a meaningful difference for the families in transition we serve.

180 relies on the support of highly trained volunteers to assist victims of domestic violence and sexual assault and their families during times of crisis. Volunteers provide support and advocacy during hospital medical examinations, police procedures, and through the criminal justice system. These volunteer roles require 40 hours of training and an ongoing commitment.
Domestic Violence Response Team (DVRT) - Next cohort begins training on Monday, March 2. Visit our website to learn more about the program and how to apply.
Sexual Assault Response Team (SART) - Visit our website to learn more about the program and how to apply.

2NDFLOOR is 180’s confidential and anonymous helpline for New Jersey’s youth and young adults. It is the only 180 program serving the entire state, beyond Monmouth County.
2NDFLOOR isn't just answering helpline calls; it can be so much more! Take a look at the new and exciting volunteer opportunities linked below. Each one allows for creativity, flexibility, and encourages our volunteers to use their unique talents, interests, and resources. There are so many ways to help…each one makes a difference.
Visit the 2NDFLOOR website for more information about volunteer opportunities.

*Please note: This volunteer opportunity is with Fourth Wave Fest, a partner of 180.
The third annual Fourth Wave Fest is a day of music with women-fronted bands raising their voices together in support of the important work of 180 Turning Lives Around.
Fourth Wave Fest is looking for help with a social media campaign celebrating Women’s History Month by celebrating women in music history. See full volunteer description here. This is a great opportunity for middle and high school students who are looking to complete service hours at home and on their own schedule!
