Next month, our River Landing community will hold its 18th Annual Food Drive to benefit the Helping Hands Food Pantry. The pantry provides non-perishable food for underprivileged families in Duplin County. Most of the recipients live in Wallace, Rose Hill, and Teachey.

Grocery bags and a list of suggested non-perishable food items will be delivered to all River Landing resident homes the week of October 22nd. Additional grocery bags will be available in the Fitness Center.

If you would like to participate in helping families in need this Thanksgiving season, please bring your filled grocery bags to the Fitness Center parking lot on Monday, November 6th between the hours of 8am and 11:30am.

If you are unable to drop off your grocery bag at this time, you may bring your donations to the Fitness Center beforehand at your convenience. Grocery bags may also be taken directly to the Food Pantry, located at the Wallace Presbyterian Church on Main Street.
