Dear Chamber member,

The Legislative Affairs Committee of the Greater Carlisle Area Chamber is hosting a candidates forum for the PA 193rd district on Tuesday, May 13th, at 7:00 PM.

Rep. Will Tallman is the incumbent and it is his third term in office, having first been elected to serve the residents of the 193rd Legislative District in 2008. Bryan Gembusia, a South Middleton Township businessman who has served on the South Middleton Township Board of Supervisors for a number of years, is the challenger in the upcoming May 20th primary.  These gentlemen are running against each other on the Republican ticket and there are not any challengers on the Democratic ticket or any other party.

The forum will be held on Tuesday, May 13th, with doors opening at the Boiling Springs Fire Hall at 6:30 PM with the forum starting at 7:00 PM.  We should wrap up the program by around 8:15 - 8:30 PM.

Redistricting has created this change for South Middleton, North Newton, Penn and Cooke Townships and Mount Holly Springs Borough.   If you live or work in these communities - please try to attend!

We are only a few days away and we are all busy, but this is an important election for our area.

It is free and we encourage all to attend!

Sincerely,

Michelle
