This 1962 Ferrari 250GTE 2+2 Series II is an excellent original example with matching numbers. Black with black interior and accompanied buy it's original tool roll and jack, chassis 3177 has an excellent body with excellent panel fit. It also wears new leather on the front seats over red carpets. In the US since the 1960s, it has a well-documented ownership history and has also just completed a detailed service with copies of the service invoices on file. The car was repainted many years ago and while the overall presentation of the paint is very good, small areas of cracking can be noticed around the base of the front and rear windows. The exterior chrome is excellent with no pitting or corrosion. The engine compartment is nicely detailed with all correct equipment and the underside of the car is rust free. Currently the car is ready to drive and enjoy. It starts easily and the engine sounds excellent and pulls strong with excellent oil pressure. The brakes have also been completely rebuilt as well as the transmission which shifts smoothly through all gears. With tools, records, and much recent work completed, this is an ideal car for the true Ferrari enthusiast seeking to add an early V12 to their collection.
