1st Annual DPBA Poker Run & Fall Fiesta Party

As a boat owner who has chosen Dana Point Harbor as your home port, thank you. We appreciate your loyalty and decision to enjoy your vessel in this southern California paradise. Your Dana Point Boaters Association now offers to help you have even more fun. Join us for the 1st Annual Poker Run & Fall Fiesta Party on October 15th.
What is a Poker Run?
Our Poker Run offers an excuse to meet up, enjoy the harbor, and have a good time. The Poker Run has little to do with poker beyond using the hand rankings to score the hands. This will be done for you by the DPBA volunteers during the Fall Fiesta Party. Prizes get awarded for the best hand and the worst hand!
To play, 5 playing cards and a winning attitude are essential. On the day of the Poker Run, you can get your cards by visiting each of the 5 dealer boats. (We’ll send you a map.) Begin at any dealer boat and enjoy navigating around the harbor. This event sells out quickly, so purchase your ticket today.
What happens during the Fiesta Party?
Food, beverages, live music, games, prizes, laughter, and friendly people are among many reasons to join us at the party. Honestly, you will have a good time! Prizes also get awarded to the best-decorated dinghy and best-dressed person in the spirit of the fiesta theme. As a special treat, a guest speaker plans to deliver a brief and enchanting talk about what’s happening with animal conservation, art, and news highlights on the worldwide parade of elephants.
When does the event begin?
The Poker Run begins at 9:30 am to 11:00 am. Join the Fall Fiesta Party at 11:30 am to 2:30 pm. (Location close to the harbor TBA.)
Is this a public event?
We encourage you to tell your friends, family, and associates about the event. Purchase tickets exclusively on the DPBA website. Like any event or party, we plan for participants who reserve in advance.
