District Weekly Highlights
September 30 - October 4, 2019
From the Desk of the Superintendent
Hello Team,

Our CUSD parents were provided with an amazing training at our very own Parent Institute. We had a great turn-out and our Parents were engaged and excited about all the great opportunities our students will be exposed to with the use of technology in and out of the classroom.

Congratulations to our CHS Girls Cross Country Team who won 1st Place at the Cibola High School Cross Country Meet.
Go Lady Bulldogs!!

We had a great Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Friday, October 4th, 2019 to celebrate the completion of the paving of the transportation parking lot through grant funding 310. The District received $406,480 from the Imperial County Air Pollution Control District and the Imperial County Board of Supervisors to help mitigate air pollution caused by dust in an effort to provide our community with better air quality. We thank Assembly Member Eduardo Garcia, Imperial County Board Supervisor for District I Jesus Escobar, Belen Leon-Lopez from the Air Pollution Control District and our Board of Trustees, Mike Castillo, Lorenzo Calderon Jr., Enrique Alvarado, Ciro Calderon and Richard Romero for their attendance and continued support.

Have a wonderful weekend!
