Their 20th anniversary is a yearlong celebration of innovative ways to interpret and connect with nature. It is an art and natural history museum, science center & aquarium with live animals, trail systems and a wild walk with panoramic views of the ADKS. It is The Wild Center's 4th nomination for "Best Science Museum".

The focus is to advocate for families and childcare in rural counties & the Adirondack Park to provide resources that ensure safe, nurturing are so parents can continue to work. The NYS Childcare Assistance Program provides free or heavily reduced care for eligible families. It is an economic benefit for everyone.

He started 26 years ago in the Teen Peer to Peer program and is the now Exec. Director. Serving youth to seniors, CAPTAIN offers over 30 programs to 'get ahead' and 'stay ahead'. They provide help from past crises to living a sustainable life to achieve personal growth & empowerment. "We care about you, we see you and we are here to help".

Children's Museum

The WACM provides interactive spaces for children to learn and explore through art & music workshops and imaginary play. It has the largest international collection of children's art - over 8000 pieces. Kids learn about diversity, which fosters open mindedness, confidence and self-awareness. Growing the minds of children is the mission.
