Quarterly Newsletter: January 1 - March 31, 2026

We've been quite busy here at Sound Federal Credit Union! Below are some of the things we've been up to and what's to come...

Sound in the Community:

Two of our Sound employees, Fania Lazarre and Diana Carpio, volunteered at a "Night to Shine," a worldwide prom celebration event for students with special needs. "It was a beautiful and heartwarming event," Diana said.

Did you know some AllPoint locations now accept cash deposits?

Just look for the AllPoint+ locations! There are some CVS locations in Norwalk and Stamford with more being rolled out each day!

Please be advised:

All branches will be closing at noon on Wednesday, March 25th for our quarterly all-staff training and development afternoon. Thank you for understanding!

We have so many exciting things on the horizon:

We heard your feedback and now there are big changes coming to our Norwalk branch! We will need to close for one day, March 11th, to make these changes, but will

re-open March 12th. Be sure to come check out the new changes!

Sound has a table on the Norwalk Green for the 5th Annual Earth Day Festival on April 25th!

The Spring Shred-It Event will be held at the Stamford Government Center on May 6th from 2-4 PM!

Be on the lookout for fraud!

Financial institutions nationwide are experiencing an increase in spoofing and phishing attempts. Scammers may spoof phone numbers so calls appear to come from a legitimate source, send urgent texts or emails about "fraud," claim you've won or found money, post as government agencies or technical support, or request payment using gift cards or wire transfers.

Your security is very important to us. If you receive a suspicious call, hang up. Contact us directly at

Jayne VanZandt Holt, daughter of Tri-Town Teachers FCU founders Jay and Phyllis VanZandt, was delighted to receive a portrait that had hung for many years in the Westport office. We were honored to return the painting to the family and are deeply grateful for the VanZandts’ lasting legacy.
