2nd Grade Requirements

MATH:

• Your child will need to complete the FastBridge Math Assessment (Sept 12-16)
• Your child will need to complete their weekly online time work (starting Oct 3)

PHY ED: The assignment will be posted in Google classroom.

READING:

• Your child will need to complete the FastBridge Reading Assessment (Sept 12-16)
• Your child will need to complete their weekly online time work (starting Oct 3)

SCIENCE, select 1

There are 8 science learning targets, each quarter your child will submit a project that covers 1 of the learning targets. By the end of 2nd grade, your child should have covered all 8 learning targets. 

• Option 1: Submit one science assignment. See the Science Instructional Guide using this link: Science Instructional Guide

- OR -

• Option 2: Your child can complete the recorded teacher Plant Class. Complete the required activities and submit them in classroom. This class meets the Life Science 2 Learning Target.

SOCIAL STUDIES: Submit one social studies/history assignment. See the Social Studies Instructional Guide using this link Social Studies Instructional Guide

- AND -

WRITING: Your child will need to complete the three-week, teacher-recorded class "How to Write a Letter" and submit their work in classroom.

- OR -

SOCIAL STUDIES & WRITING: Your child can complete the integrated Veteran's Day and "Letter Writing" Project. He/she can then write a letter to a Veteran and submit a copy of it in classroom. This option fulfills both the Social Studies and Writing requirements.
