Help Raise Awareness for Connecticut's Summer Meals Program
Register for Blitz Week (June 16- June 22) and help spread the word that free meals are available for kids across Connecticut this summer.
1 in 5 Connecticut children that rely on school meals don't know when or where they will eat their next meal during the summer. Join End Hunger CT!'s Nourish to Flourish campaign through Summer Meals Blitzes and help us tell children and the community where kids 18 and younger can eat free, nutritious meals all summer long.
A Blitz event is a day for volunteers and community partners to raise awareness of free Summer Meals Programs in their area. During a Blitz event, volunteers come together to distribute outreach materials and talk with people about free Summer Meals.
Blitz Week will take place from Saturday, June 16th - Friday, June 22nd at 7 different locations. You can participate both in person and/or via 'Virtual Blitz'. Click
