Kikar Coffee: Dr. Anne Lembke

Friday, February 2 from 8:15 to 9:30 AM in the MPR

This week, we will have a special Kikar Coffee featuring Dr. Anna Lembke, a world-renowned addiction psychiatrist from Stanford University. She will discuss her book "Dopamine Nation: Finding Balance in the Age of Indulgence." Dr. Lembke will talk with us about the addictive mechanisms behind social media and much of technology, as well as focus on practical strategies we can use for ourselves and our students in mitigating the negative effects of these digital drugs.

The Jewish Film Institute is gearing up for its 11th annual WinterFest. Kehillah has been a supporter of the film festival for years. This year's fest will be held at the Vogue Theater in San Francisco on Saturday, February 24, and Sunday, February 25.
