Email Communications
Mid Jersey Association of REALTORS®' primary way of communicating with its members is via email. When you become a member of MJAR, you consent to receive email communications. Because we understand that our members' time is valuable, we make every effort to keep our email communications to a minimum, and that includes essential information about member benefits such as:
- Free or discounted continuing education classes and webinars.
- Announcements about MJAR events and networking opportunities.

Information about free or discounted products and services from partners, such as Bright MLS and Supra eKey
- Imperative announcements about MJAR.
Additionally, you will be notified via email and through the weekly newsletter when your annual membership dues are payable. Please keep in mind that if a member unsubscribes/opts out from MJAR's email distribution list, that member will no longer receive reminders about annual dues and information about member benefits. DCA Releases Flood Risk Notice for Landlords
The New Jersey Department of Community Affairs released a new notice for landlords to notify tenants of flood risks. Landlords must give this notice to tenants before signing or renewing their lease beginning May 5, 2024, and both the landlord and tenant must sign it. New Jersey Realtors® will update its forms accordingly to reflect the law and notify members when it's available.

2024 Good Neighbor Awards Application Opens |
NAR’s Good Neighbor Awards recognize REALTORS® who significantly impact their communities through volunteer work. Winners receive $10,000 grants for their cause and national publicity. Five winners will each receive a $10,000 grant for their nonprofit organization and be recognized in November during NAR NXT, The REALTOR® Experience in Boston. Five honorable mentions will also each receive a $2,500 grant. Deadline is April 17, 2024.

Members are Eligible for the Bright MLS
Shareholder Rate
When joining Bright MLS, members need to go to https://brightmls.com/join and complete the enrollment process. Members of Mid Jersey Association of REALTORS, Inc., are eligible for the shareholder rate, which is outlined within the subscriber fees on the Bright MLS website at https://brightmls.com/pricing. It is important to indicate the Association Name as "CORE Association of REALTORS" when filling out step one of the online application, even though it's not a required field. This is the only way to ensure a member is billed at the shareholder rate, right from the start. (Note: Bright MLS is working on updating their system to Mid Jersey Association of REALTORS®).
