Lenten Devotions

We will have daily devotions throughout Lent beginning Mar. 2. To receive them by email, you must sign up to the list below:
Updated mask policy beginning Mar. 6

Fully vaccinated individuals ages 5 and up (including boosters where eligible) are no longer required to wear masks but are welcome to continue wearing masks based on their comfort level. If you have tested positive, or have been in contact with someone positive, or experienced known symptoms* in the last 10 days, please plan to participate virtually. Unvaccinated individuals are asked to remain masked while in the building.
Blood Drive

Ash Wednesday Activities
Wednesday, Mar. 2

Join us for the start of the holy season of Lent. There are several opportunities to engage:

Imposition of ashes:
9:30am - Following CMK chapel
12:00p - Rear portico (drive-thru)
6:30p - Sanctuary worship service

Community Connect Dinner
5:45pm - Our monthly Community Connect Dinner is back! The menu is chili, baked potato bar, salad, cornbread, and dessert. The cost is a freewill offering. Give online or at the door. chambleeumc.org/dinner

Kids Activity
5:15pm
Prior to dinner on Ash Wednesday, kids of all ages are invited to join us for a special activity to celebrate the start of Lent. Don't miss this edible activity that will help us remember the importance of prayer throughout the Lenten season!
Cold-weather clothing drive
Feb. 13-27

The Missions Committee is hosting a cold-weather clothing drive for the Elizabeth Foundation benefiting local homeless tent camps in our area. We would like the congregation, CMK, and potentially local neighbors (through social media notifications) to drop off specified clothing and other items at the church in collection bins located in the breezeway and narthex. Chamblee Methodist Kindergarten is hosting a flower bulb sale and offering a variety of 18 popular spring planting, summer blooming flower bulbs and plants.
