District Update from Dr. Wagner
Fairview Families:

On Monday, over 275 Fairview Park City Schools staff members received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine at the Educational Service Center of Northeast Ohio. Thank you to the ESC and Giant Eagle for their well-planned and efficient vaccine clinic!
Monday we will welcome our students all in!

Food Service - All students are eligible for free school meals through the end of the year. If your student is staying full remote only, please sign up here if you wish to pick up meals on Mondays from 12-1 p.m. at Fairview High School. If you have any questions, please email Diana Hill at dhill@fairview.k12.oh.us

Transportation - Monday will feel a little bit like the first day of school…. again! Please be sure that your student is at their assigned bus stop in plenty of time. Buses may be running slightly early or late. We appreciate your patience.

Building-specific information

REMINDER: Remote Learning Only (RLO) program
Just to confirm, students currently in the Remote Learning Only (RLO) program can remain in the RLO program through the remainder of this school year, if preferred. I encourage parents who are concerned about sending their students back to school on a regular schedule starting next Monday to contact their child’s teachers, school counselors or building principal right away. There is limited space in the RLO program at some levels and we cannot guarantee the ability to transition to it, if desired. In grades K-5, a change of teacher will likely occur when moving into the RLO program, and I know many parents do not want to disrupt the relationships that have already formed this past semester. If your child has been in the RLO since the beginning of the school year, they will remain in it unless the school office is notified otherwise.
We are incredibly excited to have finally reached this point in this crazy pandemic! The entire Fairview Schools team have worked so very hard to make this next step as safe and as comfortable as possible for everyone. Thank YOU for your continued support and huge efforts to help us make the past year as successful and “normal” as possible for our kids. It has TRULY been a full team effort to get through this. We appreciate you so very much.

Stay safe - Mask up - See you Monday!
