Welcome to December! This part of the year goes by so quick...half days, holidays, and TWO holiday vacations...before you know it it's 2024! We are excited to spend such a fun time of the year with all of our friends and are looking forward to the Holiday Season!
Speaking of, let's talk about 2 that we already celebrated! As seen above, we had a special parent guest come in to share with us their Dwali traditions! The kids learned a lot about the celebration, and got to make lanturns out of clay and tealights as shown above! It was a great experience for all, and if you have a certain holiday that you celebrate and wish to share with us we'd LOVE to have you!
Then of course we just finished Thanksgiving! The half day before break we spent some time filling a paper turkey with feathers with things we are thankful for, and then some of our friends helped us create a fruit turkey to share for a special snack! It might not have been quite as filling as Thanksgiving dinner, but the prep time is much less!
We're looking forward to our two half days and all the fun we will be having in December!
