Fund A Need - "WINGS UP" - Angels Gym Renewal Project

Holy Family "Boots and Bling" Gala - Saturday, February 7th

Help us refresh and upgrade the look and feel of our Angels gym to a branded competitive space for our middle school athletes.

New scoreboard, new branded wall pads, New "Angels" branded Chairs and Score Table for our home games. We will also be improving the space by adding bleachers and creating a corridor behind them on the player side of the court. This will help keep traffic and disruptions away from the coaches and players as they compete for our school. It will also create a clear path to our bathrooms and storage space for our tarp roller.

Thank you in advance for your support of this first phase of our gym renewal project. We are excited to spice things up for our MS athletes and fans.

Mary Jo Kilburn, Athletic Director

Once the basketball season is over, please turn in your child's uniform. It needs to be clean and placed in a bag labeled with their name. They can be returned to the black uniform bin in the gym.

Multiple Sports and Activities

Team sport practices and games (Soccer) will have priority over lifetime sports. It is essential that they practice and develop as a team.

From the Athletic Handbook

"We encourage athletes to be well rounded, participating in different activities both athletically and otherwise. Different sports challenge athletes in different ways, and the skills developed through the training methods used in one sport will often help the athlete in another sport.

Multiple sport participation - student-athletes may not participate in multiple team sports at the same time. Student-athletes may, however, participate in a lifetime sport (cross country, golf, tennis, cheer and track) and a team sport. Good, open communication between the student-athlete, his/her parents, and the two coaches involved is important. A priority will be declared in case of scheduling conflicts and agreed upon by the coaches. Pre-season is the best time to begin this dialogue."

Winter Athletic Award Night - Save the Date

Wednesday, February 25th in the Savio Gym at 6pm

Each team will award a Most Improved Player and Most Valuable Player Trophy. Every player will receive a certificate.
