2 BILLION PAIRS OF EYEBALLS

Our Field Team 6 Social Storming Squad just passed the 2 billion impressions mark just on Twitter (more if you count Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok and YouTube)! What does this even mean? Our messages have been served to over 2 billion people’s timelines so far on social media, in 2022 alone!   We know tweets don’t vote; they don’t register to vote, either. But people do read the tweets and act because of them. Think of the impact of having our pro-democracy and voter registration calls to action in front of 2 billion pairs of eyes!   And now that we’ve partnered with Meidas Touch and The Union, we’ll be able to reach even more people!   We’ve built a community of over 600 volunteer stormers who have sent out our ready-made posts over the last year and a half. Many of you have told me you were surprised at how easy this is – it’s a painless way to be an activist without having to drive anywhere or spend 4 hours carrying a sign. You can spend 10 minutes while you’re waiting in line and send out 30 quick tweets! Wanna help but don’t think you have enough Twitter followers to make a difference? I started with 30, and grew it to over 13,000 followers. We’ll help grow your followers too!   Come to one of our trainings, we’ll show you how easy it is. Never used Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram? No problem, we’ll show you the first steps and how to make it work for you. Don’t want to write anything? You don’t have to, the posts are already designed and written.   Already on social media? BIG BREAKING GOOD NEWS!

OUR LATEST VOLUNTEER FAIR ...BIG AND UNION STRONG! Last night, Field Team 6 hosted our best-attended (and arguably most fun) Volunteer Fair ever, and that had everything to do with our impressive new partner The Union – an organization that is an outgrowth of the Lincoln Project. The Union recently exploded onto the scene with the purpose of directing the deluge of followers from The Lincoln Project into concrete activism to save the democracy – and it is now 60,000 volunteers strong. Their promotion of this event brought a huge crowd of new volunteers – exactly what we need just over 60 days from the election! Attendees got to hear from our dream team of trainers about all the opportunities we offer to register Democrats – by phone, text, postcard, social media storm, in-person voter drives, helping out behind the scenes, or even helping with our latest groundbreaking tool, Blue Voter Guide. PICTURES FROM THE FRONT: SWEET-TALKING IN SAVANNAH! On August 31 from 10a-2p a group of hardy volunteers pounded the pavement in Savannah, in the ongoing fight against Trumpism in battleground Georgia. They brought sunscreen, water, comfortable shoes... and a wonderful "save the world" attitude. Lauren Mescon, who mainly lives in the Netherlands, but comes from Savannah originally, organized the drive and brought all her friends together. And our expert voter registrar Julie Glade drove down from Atlanta to help! Even though it was a bit on the warm side, fellowship and fun was had by all... It's these kind of events where Field Team 6 originally made its bones... and it's a big reason why we remain so hopeful that we can, in fact, save democracy and the world. Thank you so much, Savannah gang!

TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 13: TEXT ARCADES ARE FUN! We don't have the cash, to text all the eligible voters who are likely Democrats in our database. Hence the Text Arcade: a super-fast text bank that costs $25 a ticket, where 100% of your ticket funds this text bank. We cap attendance to make sure everyone has 1400 texts to send! And now we're going all in with Text Arcade Tuesdays. Every Tuesday until October 18 we're hosting Text Arcades to likely Democrats in swing states that make the difference. SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 18: "WRITE FOR DEMOCRACY" RBG POSTCARD DRIVE-THRU Here's how to honor the memory of Ruth Bader Ginsberg by saving democracy! Join WAVE (Women for American Values and Ethics, one of FT6's fav partners) on Sunday, September 18, the two-year anniversary of RBG’s passing. From 10a-2p PT, you can cruise through WAVE’s outdoor DRIVE-THRU at 1900 Port Carlow, Newport Beach and pick up GOTV postcards to support Orange County Democratic candidates! All postcard bundles have addresses, scripts, and directions; just pick up a bundle, fill out the cards, put on a stamp (though stamps are available for anyone with financial need), and pop ‘em in the mail on 10/10/22. WAVE has had so much success with their Postcard Project that only 2,000 postcards remain – let's finish 'em off! Make sure there’s still inventory before you go: text Kim at 714-904-5982. TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 20: TEXT BANK TO REGISTER PENNSYLVANIA DEMS Please join this superfast text bank to reach eligible female voters (who are likely Democrats) with a pro-abortion rights message on Tuesday, September 20 from 1-3p ET. This must-win state is home to folk hero big John Fetterman vs medical zero and Jersey MAGA carpetbagger Doctor Oz in the Senate race; and Attorney General and all-around good guy Josh Shapiro versus insurrectionist and insane person Doug Mastriano for the Governor's mansion. It’s hilarious – it’s powerfully moving – and people have been known to fall deeply in love here (true story). If you’re in L.A., don’t miss out! This magical night of musical talent is off-the-charts, with songs by your favorite stars of stage and screen to benefit not just Field Team 6 but also DemocraShe, founded by former Field Team 6 superstar and founding member Sarah Jakle. Hosted by one of the world’s funniest and most talented people, Chris Mann, this event also features an open bar, delicious desserts, and a silent auction. AMAZING ALREADY-HAPPENED STUFF

PROGRESS NORTH... PROGRESS EVERYWHERE! We are thrilled to report on another crazy successful text bank! This time we teamed up with our wonderful Wisconsin partners Progress North, an indigenous-led organization whose vision is this: By coming together to rewrite the rules and making the wealthiest few pay their fair share, we can ensure that everyone — Black, white and brown, native and newcomer — can earn a good living and have a good life; we can resource our schools so that every child can pursue their dreams; and we can provide families with the care we all need to get and stay well. As Field Team 6 does with all our partners, we encouraged them to take ownership of the script – and they did, perfecting the wording so that it truly spoke to the people we were connecting with. The upshot? We reached 50,000 unregistered women (and likely Democrats) across Wisconsin with a pro-abortion rights message! And our voter registration link reached a truly impressive 3.8% click through rate: 1880 people clicked through to the official WI registration page. HUGE thank you to Shawnu, Cheyenne, Jade and the whole team at Progress North. Phenomenal work with a phenomenal partner – this is what swings elections!

STRATEGY BRIEFING: WHAT WENT DOWN! Two days ago, we held a ‘very special episode’ of our Strategy Briefing. For one thing, it was our final briefing before the do-or-die midterm elections where we laid out our plan for saving the House, the Senate and (no pressure) the democracy itself, all in the next 61 days! We were also joined by not one, not two, but threee (count ‘em) incredible partner groups with whom we’ve joined forces in this final push: Meidas Touch, The Union and Gen-Z voter registration super group Fearless Action! You've built us the Ferrari. Now we just need the gas to power it over the finish line on November 8th. And this Ferrari runs on volunteer hours and donor dollars!
