It is that time of year again: the changing of the leaves, colder weather, and elections.
First, I would like to thank everyone who supported our restaurants during Littleton Restaurant Week, 9/8-17. We were fortunate to receive great press from Channel 7, Westword, Colorado Community Newspapers and The Villager. We will be meeting next week to recap this year's event and start planning for next year!
November 7th, the citizens of Littleton, will be voting to fill 3 vacancies on City Council. We invite you to attend our Business After Hours Wednesday, 10/11, at Rice Bistro in Aspen Grove, 4-6pm. We have invited the 4 candidates (2 are unopposed) running for council to provide you the opportunity to meet them.
The chamber sent out a survey to all of its members asking their opinion on Ballot issue 3K- of the 30% of members who responded, 87% voted Yes, Voters should vote to retain almost $6 million dollars of extra revenue generated by the 3A sales tax and other revenue sources collected during 2022.
The Chamber will be supporting the Vote Yes for Ballot 3K.

I am excited to announce we are launching two new committees.
The LBC Ambassadors and the Young Professionals (under 40) Networking Group.
Chamber Ambassadors are an extension of the chamber and assist me in promoting our mission, help with Ribbon Cuttings and Networking Events. Our first meeting is this Friday 8am at the Chamber Offices. Join us for Coffee and my homemade apple cider doughnut Cake!
We are hosting our first Young Professionals Networking Event October 25th; this will be a Speed Networking event at The Guild Co-Working Littleton. Our goal is to connect young professionals who are interested in expanding their professional networks and develop leadership skills within the chamber and the community.
We are hosting a fun Wine Women and Networking October 19 at Water2 Wine and Connie Lamb, Bringing the Bites Events and Experiences, will be teaching us all the tricks to creating beautiful holiday charcuteries boards.
October 13th will are hosting a Ribbon Cutting for Water2Wine. They recently moved from Centennial (at University & County Line).
The holidays will be here before we know it- please remember all of our non-profit members. Please call me if you have any questions regarding these organizations.
We will be hosting our first annual Holiday Giving Gala, in partnership with Shift Workspaces, Friday December 8th, 5-8 pm. We are finalizing plans but have already planned great food, specialty cocktails, Live Auction, and entertainment. All proceeds will go towards supporting local Littleton Non-profits. More to come soon but please save the date.
