PPE - Bulk Purchasing for Primary Care

Shortages of gowns may be anticipated again in fall 2020. Thames Valley FHT is willing to facilitate bulk purchases on behalf of London Middlesex primary care providers to secure reasonable market pricing for all. Thames Valley FHT will pass along the savings at no additional cost to you.

Our first bulk purchase would be certified L1 Isolation gowns from Safe Direct Medical Supplies.

Cost: current quote $3.29 + tax per gown
Payment and delivery details: to follow once we are able to make the bulk order.

To purchase gowns, email the number of gowns you wish to order to janet.dang@thamesvalleyfht.ca by Friday July 17, 2020.

For Family Doctors who are members of the OMA/SGFP ONLY

Dr. Sharad Rai District 2 Chair and Dr. Gordon Schacter SGFP District 2 Delegate are pleased to announce that the OMA has connected with a supplier who would like to donate PPE to SGFP.

The PPE supply includes the following: 
·        780 Lysol wipes canisters
·        780 Lysol disinfectant spray cans
·        Masks certified to CE EN14683 Type IIR (50 masks per box)

This precious cargo is being shipped to districts who have secured volunteers to aid with distribution.
 
We are asking you to fill out this Survey by the deadline of Monday July 20, 2020 to secure your supply of the PPE.

EACH PHYSICIAN SHOULD FILL OUT A FORM FOR THEMSELVES. DO NOT FILL OUT FOR YOUR GROUP.
 
The allocation of the PPE will be determined based on the number of responses received and the amount of donated PPE provided. An equal allocation will be provided to each individual physician completing the survey.

We anticipate deliver of the PPE the first week of August! A firm distribution date is not available at this time.
