A World Premiere
Educating Asher is a meaningful story about loss, the friendships that
shape us, and most importantly, love.
Hiding in the kitchen at a reception for a funeral, Asher is not quite sure how to process his grief over the loss of his former middle school teacher, Elliott Weiss, who he hasn't spoken to or seen in five years. His boyfriend Mark tries to encourage him to talk to Mr. Weiss's widower, Nick, but to no avail. Soon enough, Asher is forced to confront his grief when Elliott's ghost appears in the kitchen with him. It's only now that Elliott is gone that Asher can finally say everything he ever wanted to the teacher who changed his life.

Share an evening of unforgettable stories, laughter, and music with Broadway's Ivan Rutherford.

More than Broadway takes the audience on Rutherford’s personal journey from a small Pennsylvania town to the lead role on Broadway in the world’s most popular musical Les Misérables. It’s an evening filled with inspirational standards and Broadway favourites. You’ll hear first-hand accounts of “Broadway Bloopers” and “Shenanigans”... along with some of his most tender moments in the performance.

Ivan Rutherford has performed the role of Jean Valjean in Les Miserables over 2,300 times on Broadway and national tours. He was honoured with the role during the 10th-anniversary company in New York and played alongside Andrea McArdle (the original Annie) at the Ogunquit Playhouse in Maine, and Lea Salonga on Broadway in the 20th anniversary Les Miz revival. Ivan was also nominated for Best Actor for his portrayal of Valjean at the First Annual National Broadway Theatre Awards, held at the New York Supper Club in NYC. Some other favourite roles include The Caliph in Kismet, Tony in West Side Story, Lt. Joe Cable in South Pacific (Drama-Logue Award) and Officer Charles Lightoller in the Broadway production of Titanic.

From Lily Langtree to Cyndi Lauper and Betty Boop to Tina Turner, or from Rosie the Riveter to Britney Spears, female singers and pop stars and their music provide a vivid reflection of how much has changed for women since the beginning of the 20th century.  RespectA Musical Journey of Women, which has evolved from a one-woman dissertation by Professor Dorothy Marcic to an international hit musical revue since its debut, is an entertaining, exuberant, and exhilarating look at the lives of women as reflected in the popular music of the times.
Combining excerpts from over 60 songs with women’s personal stories about realizing dreams, loves won and lost, and battering against glass ceilings, Respect features such period favorites as “I Enjoy Being a Girl,” “Diamonds Are a Girl’s Best Friend,” “I Wanna Be Loved By You,” “As Long As He Needs Me” and “Whatever Lola Wants” along with such modern standards as “Where the Boys Are,” “It Must Be Him,” “The Greatest Love of All,” and “Stand by Your Man.”

Known as 'The King of Off the Boat Comedy', Anthony Rodia is a first generation Italian-American. Born and raised in Westchester, New York, Anthony came out of the womb making people laugh. In his 20s he tried a few open mics, but ultimately took a different career path - as a finance manager at a luxury car dealership.
In 2019, Anthony returned to comedy, leaving his day job to become a full-time stand-up comic. Within just 4 years he has gained a massive fan-base - online and around the country - his YouTube videos have amassed over 22 million views!

Rodia's comedy pulls from his real life and razor-sharp observations on marriage, parenthood, road rage, and anything else worthy of a social media rant.

With the onset of quarantine, Anthony made the most of a 'captive audience', delivering a staggering 86 weekly videos! "Road Rage Wednesday" became a fan favorite, but his Uncle Vinny and Zia Lucia characters transformed into a phenomenon. They are the crazy uncle and aunt you love, but can't be out in public with, who speak their minds (whether you asked for it, or not!).
